Costs of Treatment


If you have private medical insurance, invoices will be sent to your insurance company in the usual way soon after consultations and treatments.

Depending on the type and complexity of treatment provided, some procedures may be charged above standard BUPA rates. Your consultant will discuss this with you if this is the case.

Fees for outpatient consultation


New consultation 30 minutes £150 (approximately)
Follow up consultation 20 minutes £100 (approximately)

Fixed price packages


If you do not hold private medical insurance then fixed price packages are offered by North West Gynaecology in conjunction with the BMI Alexandra Hospital. Please contact us to discuss this. Costs will vary depending on the complexity of the surgery and the anticipated length of stay.

Post menopausal bleeding Ultrasound scan and appointment with consultant gynaecologist. Outpatient hysteroscopy if necessary. All performed in one visit.
Infertility Investigation of causes of infertility including tubal testing, ovulation tests and semen analysis.
